FROM 33 YEARS AGO.

FORMER PROJECTS

The INNFA VOLUNTEERS ASSOCIATION, AVINNFA-MILAGRO, as the first voluntary group of the city obtained its legal status through Ministerial Agreement 2180, dated November 22, 1988, published in the official register number 71 of the same year.

 

AVINNFA has 33 years of institutional life, it was created with the purpose of contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the families of extreme poverty in our parish, with emphasis on the attention of vulnerable groups, opening paths of solution in areas never attended by Public or private institutions.

 

With this mission AVINNFA created and maintains the first REHABILITATION AND SPECIALIZED EDUCATIONAL CENTER of the parish, which offers comprehensive therapy services: Physics, Pedagogical, Language, Occupational, Psychological, Special Education, Early Stimulation, Diagnostic Center, Educational Inclusion, Labor Inclusion, Social Inclusion and Work with Families.

FORMER PROJECTS

1) Aid to children (students of limited resources through Self-management).

2) The Health Train.

3) The first Office of Complaints of Child Abuse.

4) Reconstructive Surgeries in agreement with the León Becerra Hospital of Milagro and Hermano Miguel Foundation.

5) Free Consultation: Medical and Rehabilitation in agreement with the Health Department CEO (Dr. Rodolfo Sánchez).

6) CREE-AVINNFA Rehabilitation and Special Education Center.

7) Creation and support of the "Our Youth" Foundation.

8) Technical Support to Prof. Olmedo Muñoz Foundation (O.S.M.)

9) Creation and Execution of the RBC project (Community Based Rehabilitation). Pioneers in attention to people with disabilities in their respective communities, with the support of INFA (former INNFA) and the Municipal Board under the direction of Mrs. Sandra Torres)
